ewefarm's Main Features

EweFarm was designed with sheep producers as a management and data collection tool to be used "in the barn". Keep track of births, purchased sheep, health, medication, vaccination and disposal information over the life of the animal.

EweFarm uses a point and click interface for data entry, eliminating pen and paper. This ensures that the animal data collected has a higher degree of accuracy.

  • Create and manage birth, purchase, health, medicine and disposal records over the life of the animal.
  • When important events such as 50 and 100 day weights or vaccinations, are due the producer is notified by a prominently displayed message and animal records are easily accessed.
  • For each animal that has an active medicinal withdrawal period a message is displayed prominently on the screen.
  • EweFarm has an advanced search ability that allows farmers to search their sheep data. Search criteria include but are not limited to sex, birth date, purchase date, disposal and health, medical and breed information.
  • Groups, Sub Groups and Breeding groups are easily created and managed.
  • Supported features include EweByte comment codes, Sheep Flock Improvement Program (SFIP) and GenOvis reason codes.
  • Breed genetics are determined using the SFIP method
  • For National ID (CSIP) tag and Tattoo ID tag there is an auto-generation method for the next available identification number.
  • The Tattoo ID generation uses CLRC Flock ID and SFIP generation codes.
